 A warm welcome to Chavara Vidhya Bhavan Hr. Sec. School, where every child is known, valued, and inspired.

   In 17^th century John Lock spoke about “Tabula Rasa”, "blank slate," is a philosophical theory, asserting that humans are born with no innate ideas or mental content, and all knowledge is acquired solely  through sensory experience and perception. This empiricist view places emphasis on "nurture,"suggesting personality, behaviour, and understanding are shaped by environment, interactions, and learning, contrasting with the idea of pre-programmed knowledge. 

The modern researches say that fetuses learn from prenatal experiences, recognizing voices, sounds, and language patterns like intonation, which gives them a head start in development. A mother's emotional state, stress, and even what she listens to significantly influence fetal brain development, affecting long-term learning and emotional health, making the prenatal period a crucial foundation for future education.

And all these shows how the learning starts in the life of a child. It begins from the womb of the mother and ends only when a person departs from this life. During this journey of life, a person learns and unlearns many things which are contributed from the environment, society which includes the home, school, friend circle etc. The school education plays a great role in moulding the future of an individual, society, nation and at large the world. It is the responsibility of everyone to support each other so that we build a better society and a great nation with responsible and dedicated citizens.

The moto of the school is “all for all.” The Chavara Family strives to provide an environment that is basically Sacred, and has a framework of discipline that is flexible yet supportive, a freedom that allows students to learn even from their mistakes, to develop into person moulded by the correlatives of freedom and responsibility. We want each of our students to leave the school with the values of respect, cooperation, persistence and striving for excellence underpinning all that they do. Parents play a vital role in the overall development of the child. The foundation of a successful school is the cooperation between the students, staff, and parents. Parents are the most strengthening power in moulding the future of children. Their consistent support empowers us to do more. I pay my gratitude to them for their faith in us.Let’scontinue to support each other to build our society and our nation.
